  Troops of the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have arrested 62 suspected bandits and gun-runners, and intercepted assorted arms and ammunition in its joint operations in Plateau, Kaduna, and parts of Bauchi States. In a statement signed by its Media Information Officer, Captain Oya James, the OPSH neutralised two armed robbers in Amere-Ududu of Tudun Wada village in Southern Kaduna and also arrested 62 suspects in connection with armed banditry, gunrunning, kidnapping, armed robbery, and other heinous crimes.  The statement stated that the troop recovered 4 locally fabricated rifles, 2 Dane guns, 21 rounds of 7.62mm special, 13 rounds of 9mm, 11 cartridges, 6 AK 47 magazines, 1 pistol magazine, 2 cutlasses, 1 knife, 4 mobile phones, 2 vehicles, as well as 2 trailers conveying vandalized railway slippers from the arrested suspects.  It further pointed out that 43 rustled cows and 17 sheep were recovered, while a total of 426 cows were arrested for grazing on farmlands belong...
